Every Sunday
Big Dientner tour
ascent approx. 900m in height | descent approx. 2.500m in height
Meeting point: 9:00 am at Hintermoos/Intersport ski centre
€ 150,- per person | duration: til approx. 4 pm*
Fast walking pace and several ascents and descents. A super tour for downhill-oriented tour skiers. Depending on conditions, several alternatives are possible. The tour takes you from Aberg top station to the Hundstein, down to the Handlergrund, ascend to Hochkaser and through the Hirschgraben to Dienten. Take the lift to Steinbockalm, a short ascent, then down awesome slopes back to Hintermoos.
Lift card is necessary for Maria Alm and Dienten.

Freeriding in Hochkönig ski area
Meeting point: 9:00 am at Hintermoos/Intersport ski centre
€ 115,- per person | duration: til approx. 4 pm*
We'll show you secret runs and find the best snow. In addition you receive latest info on risk management, equipment and safety. Of course, we also look at your skiing technique and provide you with tips and tricks to optimize your style in powder.
Training with emergency equipment is carried out; decisions and a risk analysis is made at the Freeride Info Point at Aberg.
*Mountain/ski guide and safety equipment included. Freeride skiis can be hired in the Maria Alm sports shops.
Every Wednesday & Friday
Snowshoe walking in Hochkönig region
Meeting point: 9:00 am at Maria Alm tourist office
€ 45,- per person | duration: 3-4h*
Depending on weather and conditions we will hike through the wonderful winter landscape in the Hochkönig region. The tour on Wednesday is suitable for beginners and low intermediate snowshoe hikers. On Fridays a more challenging tour is possible on request.

Every Tuesday
Cross-country skiing course for beginners
Meeting point: 10:00 am on the cross-country track
€ 50,- per person* | duration: approx. 2h**
With the basic techniques for classic cross-country style most of the tracks around Maria Alm can be mastered. Climbs, downhill, braking and diagonal techniques are taught. All tracks in the region are perfect for training classic and skating techniques.

Every Wednesday
Beginners ski tour to Hundstein
Meeting point: 9:00 at Hintermoos/Intersport ski centre
€ 115,- per person | duration: approx. 5h*
From the ski slopes into untouched deep snow. Destination is the Statzerhaus on Hundstein. The ascent takes roughly 2h. We will show you correct use of touring equipment and give helpful tips for correct walking techniques and tactics.
The downhill part takes you through differing terrain through Handlergrund back to Hintermoos. Training is always done with safety equipment.
Decision making and risk analysis is carried out at the Freeride Info Point at Aberg.

Every Thursday
Laser Biathlon Training
Meeting point: 5:00 pm at the cross-country track
€ 49,- per person, min. 3 persons - duration 1h
We are always keyed up to watch the biathlon competitions on TV. But it is not so easy to experience the biathlon feeling yourself. Our brand new Anschütz laser rifles are perfect. Shooting positions are the same as in competition; distance and delivery are of course slightly different. The laser rifles are perfectly safe and even children enjoy a sense of achievement. At the same time we train you on your skating technique.
